Kathleen T. Gephart

 

Kathleen Totter Gephart has been passionate about fabric and color for more than two decades. When she’s not collaborating with Tony Award-winning designers to create ensembles for Broadway and local theaters or fashioning anything from wedding dresses to ballet costumes for her own design house clients, Kathleen creates works of art on canvases of felt.  She gathers inspiration from the mélange of colors and patterns presented by the abundance of nature surrounding her home in Chester, Connecticut. She has worked as the Draper and Assistant Costume Shop Manager at the Goodspeed Opera House, Costume Mistress and Designer at Eastern Connecticut Ballet, Assistant Designer at New Haven Ballet, and Designer for Valley Regional Musical Productions. She now takes on freelance projects of a wide variety for local clients.
